"We are human; we sin. The good news is the Lord is always ready and eager for us to take advantage of His mercy. The Sacraments are privileged encounters with the Living God. It is in the Sacraments that we meet Jesus Christ face-to-face. He alone offers us His mercy, forgiveness and grace in the Sacrament of Reconciliation."
5 Steps to a Good Confession.
1. EXAMINATION OF CONSCIENCE:
When we examine our conscience, we think about whether the choices we have made showed love for God, ourselves, and others. We ask ourselves whether we have sinned, either by doing something that we know is against God’s law, or by not doing something that God’s law calls us to do.
2. CONFESSION:
We tell or confess our sins to the priest. We talk with the priest about ways to love God and others.
3. PENANCE:
The priest asks us to say a prayer or perform a good act that shows sorrow for sins. This prayer or act is called penance. It helps to make up for any harm caused by sin and to grow as a disciple of Christ.
4. CONTRITION:
We express heartfelt sorrow. We tell God we are truly sorry for our sins and firmly intend not to sin again. We say the Act of Contrition.
5. ABSOLUTION:
We are given God’s forgiveness of our sins through the words and actions of the priest.
Act of Contrition (Alternate Form)
My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things.
I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.
Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In his name, my God, have mercy.
Sábados 6:00PM–7:30PM
"Somos humanos; pecamos.

When the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is administered, the hope is that the individual will be physically healed of their condition if it is God's will. Even if no physical healing occurs, the principal purpose of the Sacrament is spiritual healing, in which the sick person gets the Holy Spirit's gift of serenity and strength to face with the problems that come with serious sickness or the fragility of old age.
Please call the church rectory at (323) 266-0451 or (323)266-0452 to make an appointment of annointing of the sick.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith* in God; have faith also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be." –John 14:1-3

–Juan 14:1-3
